In the ninth session of the “Renaissance of Imam Hussain رضي الله عنه,” Shaykh Dr. Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Ninowy (حفظه الله تعالى) accounts the exchange between Imam Hussain (رضي الله عنه) and Yazid’s army on the land of Karbala and why the fight was delayed on the 9th of Muharram year 61 Hijri, according to the text Al-Bidaya wal-Nihaya by Hafidh Ibn Kathir (رحمه الله تعالى).

Shaykh Dr. Muhammad bin Yayha al-Ninowy
Shaykh Muhammad bin Yahya al-Ninowy is the Founder and Director of Madina Institute, an Islamic seminary in Atlanta, Georgia, with campuses in South Africa, the United Kingdom, Norway, Sudan, and Malaysia.
