He has been a pioneer working on grass root levels to bring back unconditional compassion and love as the central themes of religion and has been the forerunner promoting non-violence among all people and religions worldwide. Al-Ninowy also holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Illinois, and a doctor of medicine degree.

Asad Khan has a Bachelors in Economics and is a graduate of the Madina Institute’s 1-Year Intensive Associate’s Degree Program in Islamic & Arabic Studies. Following graduation from the program, he continued his studies in the sciences of Hadith, Usul al-Fiqh and Aqidah under the supervision of Shaykh Muhammad al-Ninowy with the focus of his study and research being the science of Aqidah, the structure of the Ashari and Maturidi School’s, their methodologies, and the contemporary application of their works. He is the executive director at Madina Institute and a youth mentor for the Nspire youth group.
